A Few Upcoming Immigration Events in #ABQ

People of conscience and faith are coming together to defend the rights of immigrants and refugees in the wake of recent executive orders from the Trump administration targeting these groups. Here is a list of events coming up in Albuquerque. This is by no means an exclusive list. For events that we've missed or that come up, please visit the calendars from the New Mexico Faith Coalition for Immigrant Justice, the Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice and the New Mexico Conference of Churches.

 Interfaith Dialogue
At the next meeting of the New Mexico Interfaith Dialogue, participants  will view and discuss the 22-minute video “Justice for Immigrants: A Journey of Hope.”

This timeless video with discussion guidelines was produced in 2003 by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for the Catholic Campaign for Immigration Reform. Given the recent Executive Order signed by President Trump, an interfaith discussion of these issues is very timely. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 15, time and place to be announced soon.  Contact the Interfaith Dialogue for updates and more information.
