Archbishop Wester Visits Mobile Food Pantry on South Broadway

On the third Friday afternoon of every month, a mobile food pantry comes to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in the South Broadway neighborhood of Albuquerque. 

The mobile pantry, which is open for two hours, serves a critical need for the community, helping residents who live in or near this neighborhood to supplement their pantries with basic food items.

The pantry hosted a special visitor on May 20. Archbishop John Wester mingled with the clients and volunteers and offered his support for this important operation, which is supported by Catholic Charities, Roadrunner Food Bank, CRS Rice Bowl and St. Francis Xavier Church.
