Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the New Mexico Faith Coalition for Immigrant Justice invite you to "Who is my Neighbor?," a conversation on immigration and our perception of borders in our communities.
Organizers will show a couple of thought-provoking videos created through TEDx Talks. This will be the first of a series of events to take place in the coming months for parishioners and others who wish to explore themes of migration more deeply. The program will be held in the meeting hall in the basement at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW (map) on Wednesday, June 1, 6:00-7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Joy Dinaro (jdinaro@iccabq.org).
"Family and immigration," featuring Herrison Chicas at TEDxCharlotte, is one of the videos that will be used to help spark the dialogue.
