Watching A Place at the Table on I-Tunes

A Place at the Table premiered yesterday at dozens of theaters around the country.  One person who attended the premiere at the Cinemathique theater in Santa Fe said the turnout wasn't great on Friday, but hopefully it will pick up today and tomorrow (5:00 p.m.) and Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (2:45 p.m.)

Wherever you live, if the movie is available at a theater near you, please do take some time to view this important documentary, which is linked to Bread for the World's 2013 Offering of Letters..

In the case that the movie is not showing near you, or you are unable to go, you have another option.  You can rent the movie on  I-Tunes.  (But you have to have I-Tunes installed on you computer or mobile device).

Here are a clip and a trailer specifically for  I-Tunes users

Here are some simple instructions on how to download the movie from I-Tunes.

A couple of things to remember:
  • iTunes 10 or later is required to rent movies on your computer. iOS 3.1.3 or later is required to rent movies on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  • You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.
  • Once you start watching your movie, you can view the rented movie as many times as you wish within the 24-hour (or 48-hour) window
