Las Cruces Radio Show Dicusses Hunger in New Mexico

On December 16, Peter Goodman and Walter Rube of  hosted several members of the anti-hunger community on a radio show to talk about our efforts to create a broad approach to address hunger in our state from a broad and long-term perspective.

Among those who participated in this edition of Speak Up, Las Cruces  were Rep. Joanne Ferrary, Rep. Melanie Stansbury, Pam Roy of Farm to Table, Krysten Aguilar of Las Semilla, Mag Stritmatter from the Roadrunner Food Bank and Lorenzo Alba from Casa de Peregrinos

All six guests have participated in the The Food, Hunger, Water, Agriculture Policy Workgroup, which has worked for several months to develop an omnibus legislative initiative to tie in several aspects of hunger and agriculture into a single measure. Rep. Stansbury discussed this initiative on the radio show.

Here is the link to the radio program, which was about 56 minutes.
