Jewish Community Center Seder to Highlight Plight of Refugees

In 2016, the first day of Passover happened to fall on Earth Day. The seder meal at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque was appropriately themed to mark the occasion: protection of the environment and God's creation.

In 2017, the theme of the Passover service will center on an ancient, and yet contemporary, issue: the plight of refugees.  As was the case last year, the JCC is inviting people of all faiths to join in its First Night Passover on April 10, 5:00-8:00 p.m.  The prepaid cost is $25.00 and $10.00 for children. Reservations are required.  Call 348-4518 or Register Here for Adults and for children.  The JCC is also urging attendees to sponsor a guest refugee for $25.
