Tea & Fashion Show to Benefit Homeless Service Providers in #ABQ

The non-profit organization, Pennies for the Homeless, is holding its 19th Annual High Tea & Fashion Show Extravaganza on Sunday, Nov. 13, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town (800 Rio Grande NW).

Proceeds will go to organizations that serve people experiencing homelessness, including Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless (AHCH), Barrett Foundation, Haven House, the Salvation Army, Joy Junction, and Roadrunner Food Bank. The event was featured in an article in the "Life in New Mexico" section of the Nov. 6 Albuquerque Journal.

The organization was founded in 1993, by Joseph Saavedra, and the Honorable Diane Dal Santo, retired district court judge. Since conception, Pennies for the Homeless has blossomed into an annual High Tea & Fashion Show with the same initiative in mind; improving the quality of life for people who are homeless through the partnership of AHCH and 25 other organizations.
