Vote to End Hunger : A Series of Webinars in August

This election season, we have a unique opportunity to help put our goal of ending hunger by 2030 within reach. One of the best times to raise the issues of hunger and poverty is during election campaigns. We want candidates to know that we will vote for those who make ending hunger and poverty priorities during this election season. “I Vote to End Hunger” is Bread’s campaign to put hunger and poverty on the agenda in the 2016 congressional and presidential elections. -Bread for the World

Advocacy is one of many ways to address hunger in our country and around the world. Working to convince officials who are already elected is one way to do so. Working to elect candidates who would take efforts to address hunger is another option. But let's be clear: electoral advocacy is not about political parties or personalities.  It's all about the issues. And while the presidential election is hugely important, the elections to the House of Representatives and Senate are crucial for issues related to national policy. (The same could be said about the elections to state legislatures)

To help anti-hunger advocates adopt strategies during the electoral season, Bread for the World has scheduled a series of webinars. Here are more details.
