Bread for the World celebrated its 40th birthday on June 9, but only a few of us could travel to Washington for the event. So we decided to organize our own small celebration in Albuquerque. Bread Rising in New Mexico will feature short reflections from longtime Bread members, an ecumenical choir, and some thoughts of what we can do to meet the goal of the Bread Rising campaign to end hunger by 2030.
