A Rally at Santa Fe Farmers Market for Food Labeling

Concerned citizens (including farmers, gardeners and consumers) gathered at the Santa Fe Farmers Market on Saturday, March 8, in in support of labeling Genetically Engineered (GE) food in Santa Fe. The effort moved to Santa Fe after Senate Bill 18 (to create a statewide GE labeling requirement) failed in the State Legislature. The Santa Fe City Council is set to vote on this issue on Wednesday, March 13.
